Set within Mjejane Game Reserve, a residential reserve sharing an unfenced boundary with the Kruger along the Crocodile River, this residence is shaped by its bushveld setting before anything else. The design unfolds across a series of linked pavilions under steep gabled roofs. Dark timber cladding, standing-seam metal, and lighter timber slat screens root the architecture in its surroundings, paired with stone and a restrained natural palette. A vaulted living, dining, and kitchen pavilion opens fully to the landscape, anchored by a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace and framed by glazed gable ends. An outdoor entertainment pavilion houses a pizza oven, bar, and fire feature, designed for long evenings under open sky. The principal suite continues the language with a fluted glass ensuite and freestanding tub, and the entry sequence is marked by a timber rafter portico paired with a reflective water feature.
